As President of Hot Wire Electric, Ron Moon holds a State of Alaska Electrical Administrator’s License and brings more than 40 years of experience in the electrical and telecommunications industries; 25 of which have been spent overseeing projects in and outside Alaska. Ron manages local and remote projects state-wide, with budgets ranging as high as $5 million.

An expert in underground electrical wiring; including traffic signal and highway lighting, Ron has been responsible for numerous traffic signal systems for the State of Alaska, the Municipality of Anchorage, and Elmendorf Air Force base. Some of Ron’s most notable projects include the Anchorage International Airport Taxiway K improvements, the Cottonwood Housing Complex on Ft. Richardson, the F22 infrastructure project on Elmendorf AFB, and the Ft. Richardson troop Health Clinic.

Ron joined the Hot Wire family in February, 1999, and has been helping us better serve the Alaskan community for the past 10 years. A former U.S. Army paratrooper, Ron attended Texas A&M University, as well as numerous NECA management, leadership and technical seminars.
